Greenery Tips
Before
hanging your wreath, take the wreath outside and gently shake the greenery to loosen any
compacted sections.
.
If the bow or pine cones are not already
attached, simply affix them to the greenery by twisting the wires
around a branch. Using your hand pruning shears like a
florist, feel free to trim as desired. This gives it your own unique look and personal touch.
.
Do
not hang greenery in a place that endures long hours of direct
sunlight or heat as this will shorten the enjoyment of the wreath in
the home.
.
Spray
the wreath with water at least every few days as adding moisture prolongs its
useful life.

Untie
and remove the red bow and cones from the wreath. Fill a tub, or bath
tub, with enough warm water to just cover the wreath. Turn the wreath
over and, using sharp hand held pruning shears, snip a 1/4 inch off the
readily accessible trunks of the branch ends yet keeping the wreath tied
intact. Place the wreath face up in the water and weight down lightly to
just submerge the wreath overnight. The next day, drain the tub
and gently shake off water drops. Snug any loose wiring/ties,
spray with an anti-transpirant plant coating spray to help keep in
moisture (available from your local home and garden center), and follow
the Wreath Care Tips above.
